MECCALAND is the ultimate beauty festival, attracting thousands of make-up and beauty obsessed consumers to pout, play and have an amazing time experiencing all that is new in the world of beauty. The festival requires thousands of hours of work to put together and hundreds of staff to pull it all off on the day. We were beyond excited when Taboo approached us to provide the event staff for the entire festival weekend.
Our Playgroun People are bright, bubbly and love to engage with event-goers. With many working in the fashion and beauty industries, it was a no-brainer that they would love to take part.
We conducted a rigorous interview process whereby every single applicant was interviewed for the role at Meccaland by bothSocial Playground and Taboo. Based on their interview performance and our knowledge of their key strengths, staff were assigned to a role within the festival - everything from ticketing and wayfinding to performers and hosts.
The event was a huge success, with our team shining at the festival and providing second-to-none customer service.
